yes actually last spring they avoided each other at the Cannes film festival while Ryan was promoting Drive and Rachel was promoting Midnight in Paris. Rachel was with her boyfriend and Cannes is a really small region so it would have been likely that they’d run into each other but they made sure they didn’t :p
